Reconocimiento legal del suicidio como accidente laboral

Abstract

La precariedad y la inseguridad laboral, la escasa capacidad de decisión, los bajos niveles de apoyo y comunicación con los superiores, etc., pueden relacionarse con el aumento del estrés laboral por estados mantenidos de frustración, altos niveles de tensión emocional y desgaste mental, lo cual se asocia con una salud física más pobre y una salud mental más deficiente, incluyendo depresión y trastornos de ansiedad. Además, este estrés experimentado en el trabajo y las condiciones laborales parecen estar fuertemente asociadas con intentos de suicidio y suicidios consumados en ambos sexos. Aquellos problemas de salud tanto de naturaleza física como psíquica, que se encuentren relacionadas de forma directa o indirecta con el trabajo, aun no encontrándose en la lista de enfermedades profesionales, si se corrobora la relación laboral, pueden ser categorizados como accidente lab oral, por ende, si esta patología psíquica de causa profesional arrastra a la persona hasta acabar con su vida, el suicidio puede ser tratado como un fenómeno laboral y entonces ser incluido en la categoría de accidente de trabajo.
