Efectos del ejercicio físico acuático en personas con problemas respiratorios. Revisión bibliográfica.

Abstract

Antecedentes: Las personas con problemas respiratorios tienen una mayor tasa de muerte y una menor calidad de vida que la gente sana. Además, es una de las principales causas de muerte a nivel europeo y está aritméticamente (INE, 2015), adquiriendo una gran importancia el estudio de este tipo de población. Objetivos: Determinar si los problemas respiratorios son un limitador de la actividad física y comprobar los efectos de los programas de actividad física en medio acuático. Método: Se ha llevado a cabo una revisión de artículos científicos sobre la población asmática, con rinitis alérgica y lesión medular. Resultados: Los resultados obtenidos nos indican que la aplicación de determinados programas de actividades acuáticas, no van a producir efectos negativos sobre la población asmática, incluso en ciertos casos se llega a obtener beneficios respecto a programas en el medio terrestre. Conclusiones: Se recomienda la inclusión del ejercicio físico acuático en la población con problemas respiratorios por los beneficios respecto a la salud y el desarrollo de actividades básicas de su vida cotidiana.
