Respuesta aguda al ejercicio en pacientes con eventos cardiovasculares

Abstract

La insuficiencia cardiaca (ic) es una de las principales causas de hospitalización en mayores de 65 años. Produce intolerancia al ejercicio debido a un menor gasto cardiaco y un menor aporte sanguíneo a los músculos. el ejercicio no solo mejora la capacidad aeróbica sino que podría disminuir el deterioro cognitivo asociado a la ic. Por ello el BDNF es clave en la neuroplasticidad, memoria y salud cognitiva y su producción es estimulada por el ejercicio, haciendo que mejoren en estos aspectos cognitivos. en relación a esto, el objetivo es estudiar la respuesta aguda al ejercicio en pacientes que han sufrido un evento cardiovascular reciente y analizar sus efectos sobre la función cognitiva y el BDNF, teniendo en cuenta además, como diferentes modalidades de ejercicio cardiovascular afectan a estas variables.
