Uso de la variabilidad de la frecuencia cardíaca para guiar el entrenamiento de resistencia

Abstract

El entrenamiento de resistencia requiere un control preciso de la carga para optimizar el rendimiento y prevenir el sobreentrenamiento. La variabilidad de la frecuencia cardíaca (hrv) se ha propuesto como una herramienta eficaz para ajustar el entrenamiento en función del estado fisiológico del deportista. Esta revisión analiza estudios que utilizan la hrv para modular la carga de entrenamiento en deportes de resistencia, comparándola con métodos tradicionales de periodización. Los resultados sugieren que la hrv permite individualizar la carga de trabajo, mejorar la recuperación y optimizar el rendimiento sin aumentar el riesgo de fatiga excesiva.
