Abstract

In this investigation, it is developed an experimental procedure with the objective of getting the best relation between the mud composting of urban waste wáter with the palm tree trunk as structure agent. The optimization is based on the analysis of physicochemical, chemical and biological properties during t he process and with mature compost. The composting process was carried out 350 litres, with nature aire and periodical turning over. During the process, the temperatura and humidity were used as indicators of the compost process evolution along the 86 days. Finally, as a consecuence of the evaluation of the compost quality, it was observed the hygienic, agronomic ad fertilizer qualities of the studied mixtures in order to propose the best materials for its development
