Absentismo laboral en el sector de la hostelería.

Abstract

El objetivo del presente documento es realizar una revisión de las publicaciones relacionadas con el absentismo laboral en el sector hostelero para comprobar las causas que provocan las altas tasas de absentismo en este sector. Para ello, se han analizado los documentos de investigación existentes desde el 2015 a la actualidad, que tienen como objetivo el análisis de las causas de absentismo existentes en el sector. Los resultados obtenidos confirman que se trata de una cuestión que no ha sido altamente tratada pero que, aquellos estudios que si lo han hecho, presentan causas comunes que pueden explicación a la problemática, tales como la estacionalidad del sector, la escasa existencia de medidas preventivas y formación en prevención de riesgos, el poco desarrollo profesional y la tipología y carga de trabajo que sufren los trabajadores del sector. En el apartado de discusión se ponen en común los resultados obtenidos con la finalidad de comparar los resultados y dar una respuesta unificada sobre los resultados de los documentos analizados. Por último, en el apartado de conclusión se realiza un resumen global del documento y se dan una serie de recomendaciones a la hora de prevenir el absentismo en el sector de la hostelería.
