Evaluación de la carga mental subjetiva en un Servicio de Radiodiagnóstico

Abstract

Objetivo: evaluar los niveles de carga mental subjetiva de los médicos de un Servicio de Radiodiagnóstico y analizar si existen diferencias entre sexo, edad y antigüedad laboral. Así mismo, analizar si existen niveles similares respecto a otro tipo de trabajadores de características similares. En caso de observar valores no tolerables, se propondrán medidas preventivas y de intervención. Material y métodos: se empleará la Escala Subjetiva de Carga Mental de trabajo (ESCAM) a una muestra de médicos para evaluar los Condicionantes ambientales del trabajo y las diferentes dimensiones en las que se divide la carga mental de trabajo. Resultados: los resultados obtenidos en cuanto a los condicionantes ambientales del trabajo son aceptables a excepción del ruido. No se observan diferencias estadísticamente significativas en cuanto a los niveles de carga mental subjetivas entre sexos, edad ni antigüedad laboral. Los valores de carga mental subjetiva de los médicos estudiados son mayores que la de trabajadores similares en las dimensiones ¿Demandas cognitivas y complejidad de la tarea¿ y ¿Características de la tarea¿. Conclusiones: la ESCAM es una escala fácil de utilizar para analizar los niveles de carga mental subjetiva, identificar situaciones no tolerables y así proponer medidas preventivas y de intervención.
