Abstract

The aim of this project is to make an in-depth analysis of several books in Spanish whose main theme is basketball. Although the number of publications dedicated to this sport is increasing faster and faster, there is no precedent similar to a study of this type. The objective of this work is to know the origin, the reason why and where a market conditioned by so many factors as basketball games are played throughout a season is going. It is intended to discover the link of the authors with both disciplines, sports and literature, as well as the birth, the process of creation and the release of their projects. Above all, this study aims to discover different ways of creating, of managing the most bureaucratic aspects of literature by authors —and their relationship with the publishers with which they have worked— and the different literary genres in which the sport of the orange ball has not yet entered.
