Técnicas de Terapia Ocupacional más efectivas en el tratamiento de la inestabilidad postural y el equilibrio en la enfermedad de Parkinson

Abstract

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo revisar la bibliografía que trata sobre las técnicas de terapia ocupacional más efectivas en el tratamiento de la inestabilidad postural y el equilibrio en la enfermedad de Parkinson. Metodología: Se ha realizado una búsqueda bibliográfica en las bases de datos Medline, Pubmed, Psycinfo, Ime, Scopus, Sciencedirect, en el período de Febrero a Abril del 2016 seleccionando 34 artículos relevantes. Resultados: En varios estudios existe evidencia de que las técnicas de Terapia ocupacional para el tratamiento de la inestabilidad postural son favorables en la enfermedad de Parkinson, mejorando parámetros de la marcha y el equilibrio. Conclusión: La Terapia Ocupacional interviene en el tratamiento de la inestabilidad postural y el equilibrio de los pacientes afectados de Parkinson. Se necesitan más estudios y con mayores muestras para destacar la aportación positiva del terapeuta ocupacional en el tratamiento de esta enfermedad.
