El uso de los drones ha crecido por la normalización de los mismos y esto ha facilitado que dichos aparatos sean cada vez más económicos y fáciles de adquirir. Resulta evidente que, en los próximos años, estos equipos serán más utilizados por la población. Los interrogantes éticos que despiertan el uso de estas aeronaves no tripuladas se deben a la posible vulneración de la intimidad de las personas ya que permite captar imágenes audiovisuales, que, en términos legales, hace necesario que el legislador español ofrezca una regulación clara que permita ofrecer seguridad jurídica. El hecho de que los drones tengan una serie de tecnologías al servicio del consumidor doméstico hace que sea necesario analizar las amenazas y oportunidades asociadas con su utilización, por lo que se debe acudir a la legislación pertinente con su regularización, con la finalidad de poder dar garantías a la persona protegida. El doble uso de estas tecnologías puede despertar una serie de dudas para el legislador por la propia falta de ética que surge a la hora de utilizar estos equipos y sus posibles consecuencias en la sensación de seguridad de la ciudadanía. Por otro lado, la facilidad de adquirir uno sin que se prevean limitaciones para el consumidor, hace que se requiera una legislación eficaz para que se pueda dar una respuesta al problema para el bien jurídico que representa y también para evitar incidencias por no conocer el uso de estos aparatos por parte de quien manipule el dron, sin que pueda suponer un prejuicio para uno mismo o para un tercero. A pesar de las oportunidades que presenta el uso de los drones, despierta una serie de dudas que abren una serie de brechas legislativas, por lo que es necesario que se establezca una regulación para que se ofrezca seguridad jurídica y personal. El mercado de los drones debe encontrar una perspectiva visual para que pueda dar una respuesta dentro de la privacidad personal, la seguridad, la ética y la protección y las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad sin duda alguna deben ser parte activa del proceso.

It is evident that, in the coming years, this equipment will be used more by the population. The ethical questions raised by the use of these unmanned aircraft are due to the possible violation of people's privacy as it allows the capture of audiovisual images, which, in legal terms, makes it necessary for the Spanish legislator to offer a clear regulation that allows offering legal security. The fact that drones have a series of technologies at the service of the domestic consumer makes it necessary to analyze the threats and opportunities associated with their use, so the pertinent legislation must be consulted with their regularization, in order to be able to give guarantees to the protected person. The dual use of these technologies can raise a series of doubts for the legislator due to the lack of ethics that arises when using this equipment and its possible consequences on the sense of security of citizens. On the other hand, the ease of acquiring one without foreseeing limitations for the consumer, means that effective legislation is required so that a response can be given to the problem for the legal right that it represents and also to avoid incidents due to not knowing the use of these devices by whoever handles the drone, without being able to prejudice oneself or a third party. Despite the opportunities presented by the use of drones, it raises a series of doubts that open up a series of legislative gaps, which is why it is necessary to establish a regulation to offer legal and personal security certainty. The drone market must find a visual perspective so that it can provide an answer within personal privacy, security, ethics and protection, and the Security Forces and Corps must undoubtedly be an active part of the process.
