Evolución del reclutamiento yihadista de offline a online

Abstract

El estudio analiza el fenómeno de la radicalización terrorista de corte yihadista en España y como se ha visto afectada la radicalización con la aparición de las nuevas tecnologías y redes sociales. Así mismo, se ha analizado si se ha llevado a cabo una evolución en el modo de reclutamiento de los terroristas de modo offline a online; para ello se ha realizado un análisis de las sentencias judiciales emitidas por la Audiencia Nacional desde el año 2004, tras los atentados de Madrid hasta el primer trimestre del año 2022, es decir, hasta la fecha de la realización del presente trabajo utilizando para ello la base de datos del Centro de Documentación Judicial (CENDOJ), considerando las redes sociales Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Telegram y Whatsapp y como ha influenciado y evolucionado su uso para la radicalización de yihadistas. Los resultados de las sentencias analizadas señalan que a partir del 2015 hubo un incremento notorio del uso de las redes sociales y se continuó con las formas de reclutamiento tradicional por lo que podemos concluir que no ha habido un desplazado del reclutamiento de forma física a una forma digital, sino más bien una combinación de las dos modalidades de reclutamiento.
