El fracaso escolar y las conductas delictivas

Abstract

En el presente estudio se trata de investigar la relación entre el absentismo y fracaso escolar con las conductas delictivas. Para ello se han recopilado datos de 10 centros escolares de Infantil y 2º Ciclo de Primaria (6 públicos, 3 de ellos concertados y 1 privado) y 7 centros que cursan E.S.O. (3 públicos, 3 de ellos concertados y 1 privado) todo ello apoyado con datos obtenidos de los programas de gestión policial de la plantilla de Policía Local de Denia, en la cual me encuentro trabajando desde el año 2007. En el presente trabajo haremos hincapié en los menores absentistas y expulsados de los centros escolares por ser ellos los que presentan mayores factores de riesgo. A través de los datos analizados comprobaremos que existe una relación entre absentismo-expulsados, siendo habitual que los alumnos/as que tienen problemas de absentismo, además tengan otro tipo de conflictos escolares (comportamientos disruptivos dentro del aula, problemas con profesores, acumulación de partes disciplinarios, etc.) o puedan incluso haber cometido algún acto delictivo. Además los alumnos con problemas de absentismo, suelen ser expulsados en más de una ocasión del centro educativo. Trataremos de poner en marcha un programa a nivel local que trabaje con estos menores buscándoles alguna salida laboral o educacional que les motive con el fin de trabajar desde la prevención, potenciando los factores de protección enumerados anteriormente para que estos menores no lleguen a convertirse en infractores.
