Evaluación del uso de la glomalina como indicador del impacto del fuego y el manejo post-incendio

Abstract

Este estudio se centra en la glomalina, una glicoproteína indicadora de la calidad del suelo y sensible a las perturbaciones. La proteína glomalina asociada al suelo es secretada por hongos micorrícicos arbusculares y podemos compararla con el resto de parámetros que indican la calidad del suelo después de un incendio forestal de alta intensidad y tras un periodo de tiempo. Los resultados muestran que las consecuencias de la extracción de madera post-incendio afecta al almacén de glomalina en el suelo durante el año que dura el estudio y cómo estos resultados tienen una fuerte relación con la materia orgánica contenida en el suelo. Observamos que la extracción de madera quemada tras el incendio produce un efecto negativo en la recuperación del ecosistema
