Modelización de la calidad de aguas en cursos de agua autrofizados

Abstract

La eutrofización del agua constituye uno de los principales problemas para los ecosistemas acuáticos, ya que puede tener consecuencias ecológicas negativas y puede causar el deterioro de la calidad de aguas, debido a las actividades humanas. Por ello se aborda este trabajo, en el cual se ha realizado una modelización de contaminantes y parámetros de calidad de agua en el espacio y tiempo del río Vinalopó a su paso por el Pantano de Elche. De especial relevancia resultan los datos obtenidos para los caudales másicos de sólidos en suspensión y nitratos en el espacio, cuya disminución total a su paso por el Pantano es de 2,48 t/d y 1,32 t/d, respectivamente. De acuerdo con los datos de los análisis efectuados, tanto estadísticos como de modelización, se ha demostrado que el Pantano de Elche tiene un papel importante en la mejora de la calidad del agua, disminuyendo la concentraci&# 243;n de nutrientes causantes de la eutrofización y otros parámetros de calidad de aguas evaluados.
