Estudio del uso de geotextiles de alto modulo como material de reforzamiento de subrasante en vías primarias

Abstract

Este estudio analiza cómo el geotextil de ato modulo optimiza la estabilidad, capacidad de carga y durabilidad de pavimentos en carreteras, especialmente en suelos blandos. Justifica su uso por sus beneficios técnicos, económicos y ambientales, al reducir espesores en la estructura del pavimento, prolongar la vida útil de las vías y minimizar costos y huella de carbono. A través de los softwares GEOMATRIX y Geosoft Pavco, se compararon geotextiles de alto módulo y convencionales, demostrando que los primeros ofrecen mayor resistencia, permeabilidad y eficiencia estructural. La investigación concluye que los geotextiles de alto módulo representan una solución innovadora, sostenible y de alto rendimiento para el diseño de infraestructura vial en escenarios desafiantes.
