Propuesta para disminuir los desperdicios de las frutas tropicales en el Mercafruver JV

Abstract

El presente trabajo de grado se centra en una propuesta para reducir los desperdicios de frutas en la microempresa Mercafruver JV, ubicada en la ciudad de Bogotá, dedicada a la venta de frutas y verduras. En un mercado caracterizado por su alta volatilidad y demanda variable, la eficiencia en la gestión de inventarios es crucial para minimizar pérdidas económicas y operativas, así como para mejorar la satisfacción del cliente. Se comparan tres modelos de pronóstico y se selecciona el mejor con el objetivo de prever la demanda de las frutas tropicales de los meses de septiembre a diciembre del 2024. Además de que se establecen controles del manejo y conservación de los productos. Todo esto con el fin de reducir los desperdicios y apuntando al objetivo de desarrollo sostenible ODS 2: Cero hambre.
