Abstract

El siguiente articulo presenta un estudio sobre el papel de los equipamientos urbanos en la mitigación de la gentrificación, un fenómeno que ha venido afectando paulatinamente el tejido social y cultural de numerosas comunidades urbanas en todo el mundo. El trabajo propone utilizar la agricultura como estrategia para aplacar estos impactos; y que además se presente como una herramienta para preservar la memoria cultural y la identidad de las comunidades, actuando como custodio de la historia local y la relación entre pasado-presente; en un contexto en el que la agricultura ha sido parte fundamental de la historia.
