Diseño y evaluación de la eficiencia de un filtro construido con materiales finos para la remoción de turbiedad y color en aguas lluvias

Abstract

Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar y evaluar distintas configuraciones de materiales granulares como grava, arena y carbón activado, con tamaños de partículas y alturas recomendadas en la literatura [4], [6]. Se busca determinar experimentalmente una configuración eficiente que permita un flujo adecuado de agua, evitando el estancamiento o desbordamiento en la tubería del filtro y logrando una remoción significativa de la turbidez del agua para uso doméstico. A partir de estos resultados, se pretende generar una guía de construcción que permita a los usuarios armar un sistema de filtración casero para uso residencial. (Tomado de la fuente).
