Teoría y praxis en Walter Gropius

Abstract

The article deals with the topic of the relationship between theory and practice, in particular to the German architect Walter Gropius. There is a critical look on its thought seen in connection with the traditional disciplines, and the way it is shown how it defines some routes, starting from the rupture with the knowledge characteristic of the architect that, according to our opinion, has been driven to the crisis that architecture lives now.
