Delincuencia juvenil : una revisión teórica.

Abstract

Este artículo presenta una revisión de literatura sobre la delincuencia juvenil con el objetivo de discutir sus conceptos y su etiología. Aborda los factores de riesgo y los factores de protección a los que se exponen los adolescentes autores del acto infraccional. Se presentan dos modelos teóricos acerca del origen y el desarrollo de la delincuencia juvenil.. De igual forma, se lleva a cabo una discusión sobre medidas socioeducativas y proyectos de vida como factores de protección que pueden promover una mayor integración social. Fue posible constatar, entre otros aspectos, la necesidad y la importancia de acciones y programas dirigidos a la prevención y al tratamiento de estos adolescentes.

The article presents a literature review on juvenile delinquency, aiming at discussing its concepts and etiology. It addresses both risk and protective factors which adolescent offenders are exposed to. Two theoretical models about the origin and development of juvenile delinquency are presented. Similarly, a discussion on socio-educational measures and life projects as protective factors that can promote greater social integration is carried out.. It was possible to verify,, among other aspects, the need and importance for actions and programs driven both to prevention and treatment of these adolescents.
