Abstract

La reforma al plan de estudios desarrollada ha sido preparada con base en un juicioso estudio acerca de las tendencias de la educación jurídica y de la profesión de abogado, que expone la fundamentación teórica del nuevo programa. Este estudio es presentado más adelante, después de la exposición sobre la nueva malla curricular. El nuevo programa comporta cambios parciales referidos a la condición de Contenidos Curriculares. Los propósitos de formación, las competencias y los perfiles definidos son los mismos; los lineamientos pedagógicos y didácticos adoptados por la institución no han variado. Los cambios se han concretado en el plan general de estudios y, de modo ligero, en el número de los créditos académicos, en los componentes de interdisciplinariedad y de flexibilización del programa, y en la estrategia para el desarrollo de competencias comunicativas en la lengua inglesa.
