El diseño como herramienta clave para desarrollar espacios de salud mental

Abstract

Partiendo del análisis y de la investigación del lugar se presenta un proyecto arquitectónico para espacios de salud mental, que se enfatiza en las siguientes problemáticas, falta de articulación urbana y falta de equipamientos de este tipo que tengan una relación abierta con el contexto. Para dar respuesta a esto se plantea un diseño de renovación urbana y una tipología arquitectónica de carácter tectónico que permita relaciones visuales y espaciales con su entorno. Los resultados del proyecto evidencian que la barra como tipología, enriquece la espacialidad del proyecto de acuerdo a su composición, brindando espacios verdes abiertos que benefician y que pueden repercutir en el estado de ánimo de los pacientes dando respuesta a una necesidad social y sanitaria del sector.
