Análisis del comportamiento de las mezclas gruesa en caliente MGC-1, Utilizando asfaltos modificados con polímeros (SBS)

Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo, analizar en laboratorio los cambios que sufren las mezclas asfálticas gruesas en caliente MGC-1, en los parámetros de diseño cuando se modifica el cemento asfáltico con polímeros SBS. Se analizaron los resultados obtenidos con los ensayos de laboratorio realizados para la obtención de la fórmula de trabajo de la mezcla MGC-1, siguiendo el método Marshall con asfalto modificado tipo II y con asfalto convencional grado de penetración 60-70. Igualmente se realizaron los ensayos al agregado pétreo, siguiendo lo estipulado en las especificaciones generales de construcción de carreteras del INVIAS 2007; para la combinación de las distintas fracciones granulométricas para lo cual se contemplaran dos arenas de diferente procedencia, para determinar con cual se obtiene un mejor comportamiento en la mezcla.
