Abstract

En el documento se presentaron las investigaciones y pruebas realizadas para verificar la incidencia de la temperatura en el proceso de compactación sobre propiedades volumétricas y mecánicas de una mezcla densa en caliente, específicamente en una mezcla tipo MD-12, la cual fue colocada en el puente vehicular avenida calle 13 con carrera 68, calzada sur, carril izquierdo, de la ciudad de Bogotá; para tal efecto se generaron y analizaron los ensayos de laboratorio correspondientes a porcentaje de vacíos con aire, peso específico ,densidades y tracción indirecta y se tomaron núcleos en diferentes puntos de la misma sección para realizar pruebas destructivas, todo esto se ejecutó bajo un estricto control de temperatura con cámara termográfica y termómetros a la mezcla asfáltica.
