Abstract

Los concretos reforzados con fibras han sido usados alrededor del mundo desde hace muchos años, esto se debe a que las macrofibras ayudan a prevenir la fisuración en un estado endurecido y aportan tenacidad, significa que las macrofibras permiten que el concreto soporte cargas aun después del fisuramiento. Hay diferentes tipos de macrofibras: de acero, sintéticas y naturales. El proyecto se basa en realizar una comparación de concretos reforzados con macrofibras seleccionadas de acero, PET, fibra de vidrio y por último cáñamo, con el fin de analizar los resultados obtenidos y determinar cuál de las macrofibras seleccionadas genera una mejor resistencia de cargas a compresión y flexión
