Optimización de los sistemas de captación y tratamiento para el acueducto del municipio de Paratebueno (Cundinamarca)

Abstract

Colombia es un país que presenta grandes dificultades relacionadas con los sistemas de acueductos, desde el punto de vista de abastecimiento y calidad del agua. Según informe de la Defensoría del Pueblo, solo el 56% de la población colombiana tiene acceso a líquido, y el 44% restante no cuenta con este servicio debido a falta de recursos e infraestructura. La problemática del agua potable en Colombia se ve relacionada con tres factores principales: Las fuentes de abastecimiento, la incapacidad de las PTAP para tratar el agua o la ausencia de estas y la deficiencia en las obras de captación y aducción. En este estudio se abordará el diagnóstico, análisis, rediseño y propuesta de optimización de la fuente hídrica actual con la que cuenta el municipio de Paratebueno en Cundinamarca.
