Concepto cultura

Abstract

Escribir acerca de la cultura es como hablar acerca de la luz. La luz como concepto es una vibración, y la cultura puede ser la luz proveniente de las vibraciones de una sociedad. Aparecen varios matices de luz y sombra en la visión de la sociedad y ellos proveni en de las mentalidades, las ideologías, y los imaginarios. Para el grupo de arquitectos que participamos en el diplomado sobre Ideologías y Mentalidades dirigido por Marcos González en la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad Católica de Colombia, las luces y sombras se proyectaron en formas múltiples enfocándose sobre temas que ayudan en la comprensión de la mente social si se permite hablar de éste casi imposible. La mayor preocupación de los asistentes al curso fue naturalmente la arquitectura y cómo concebir una arquitectura colombiana. Y pronto coincidimos en que para conseguir algo así de etéreo es necesario algo más que nuevos materiales o nuevas formas, se necesitan nuevos conceptos de espacialidad que pueden salir de una mirada ávida de encontrar formas actuales de sociabilidad en el país.
