Abstract

El presente estudio pretende obtener la prevalencia de participantes normopeso, sobrepeso y obesidad en niños y niñas de Educación Primaria en la localidad de Baeza. Conocer el estilo de vida de los participantes y aplicar una intervención directa en ellos a través del área de E.F, participando 149 alumnos. Las edades comprendidas son desde los 6-12 años de los cuales el 51.01% eran chicas y el 48.99% chicos. Los principales resultados mostraron el porcentaje de los participantes normopeso, sobrepeso y obesidad siendo 59,44%, 18.18%, 22,38% respectivamente. Concluyendo que el 58,82% de los participantes piensan que practicar ejercicio es bueno para la salud. Pero el 26,47% reconocen sentirse agotados al practicar deporte. Además la ingesta de comida con alto contenido calórico se produce 1 o 2 días en semana, todo lo contrario a las comidas que aportan beneficios para la salud. Asimismo el uso de las nuevas tecnologías alcanza cifras del 77,94%.

This study aims to obtain the prevalence of normal weight participants, overweight and obesity in children in primary school in the town of Baeza. Knowing lifestyle participants and apply direct intervention in them through the area of EF, 149 students participating. The ages are from 6-12 years of which 51.01% were girls and 48.99% boys. The main results showed the percentage of normal weight participants, overweight and obesity being 59.44%, 18.18%, and 22.38% respectively. Concluding that 58.82% of the participants think that getting exercise is good for health. But 26.47% admit to feeling exhausted sport. Besides food intake high calorie occurs 1 or 2 days a week, on the contrary to meals that provide health benefits. Also the use of new technologies reaches 77.94% figures.
