Abstract

La integración educativa y puesta en valor de la geodiversidad y del patrimonio geológico, constituye actualmente un elemento fundamental en el desarrollo del proceso enseñanza-aprendizaje del alumnado de ESO. Las oportunidades didácticas ofrecidas por los georrecursos forman parte de un complemento al trabajo del aula enriquecedor y motivador que, junto con el constructivismo, aprendizaje cooperativo y uso de las TICs, serán los instrumentos principales en la presente Unidad Didáctica, para conseguir alcanzar los objetivos que requiere la enseñanza de la geodiversidad. En particular, se promueve la necesidad de proteger y conservar los geoparques y lugares de interés geológico de Andalucía, dado su elevado valor científico, didáctico, cultural y socio-económico, lo cual les hacen modelos de gestión sostenible gracias a las iniciativas y estrategias implantadas por la propia comunidad autónoma. Además, esto involucra labores de sensibilización y concienciación del alumnado, tratando un aspecto tan relevante como es la educación ambiental.

The educational integration and the enhancement of geodiversity and geological heritage, is currently a fundamental element in the development of the teaching-learning process of ESO students. The didactics opportunities offered by the georesources are part of the enriching and motivating classroom work complement that, together with constructivism, cooperative learning and use of ICTs, are the main instruments in the present didactic unit, lt requires the teaching of geodiversity. In particular, the need to protect and conserve geoparks and places of geological interest in Andalusia is promoted, given its high scientific, didactic, cultural and socio-economic value, which refers sustainable management models thanks to the answers and strategies implemented by the autonomous community itself. In addition, this involves raising awareness and raising student awareness, dealing with such an important aspect as environmental education.
