Mejora de fermentabilidad de hidrolizados de hoja de olivo

Abstract

[EN]In this paper we will study different detoxification methods for lignocellulose hydrolysates of olive leaf’s in our case, in order to reduce the toxic compounds inhibiting the subsequent steps in a more general process of obtaining bioethanol. On the other hand, it is also intended to study the working conditions that allows us to obtain a high recovery of sugars, which will allow us also to obtain a higher output in relation to the biomass used as raw material. For its evaluation, the original hydrolyzate, obtained by acid hydrolysis under mild conditions, and the hydrolysates after detoxifying with resin and active carbon, the concentration of sugars and compounds usually recognized as potentially inhibiting ethanolic fermentation processes have been measured, such as acetic and formic acids or the polyphenol content.
