[ES] La jornada de trabajo en España hace referencia a la jornada de trabajo o jornada laboral que aparece regulada en el Estatuto de los trabajadores. Este establece que la jornada legal máxima no podrá ser superior a las 40 horas semanales de trabajo efectivo de promedio en cómputo anual, así como que el límite diario no podrá ser superior a 9 horas de trabajo efectivo. Por convenio colectivo se puede modificar este límite diario, siempre que se respete el tiempo de descanso entre jornadas. La jornada, la tipología de jornadas y el horario de trabajo son conceptos que, más adelante, se definirán y se estudiarán de manera concreta en los distintos artículos de las leyes que lo regulan.

[EN] The working schedule in Spain pays reference to what is established and regulated by the statutes or workers’ rights. It is regulated that the legal working week cannot be superior to 40 hours on average over the course of a year and that the daily limit cannot be superior to 9 hours of work. According to a collective agreements this daily limits can be modified, although the respective break time must be adhered to during the working day and between days. The working schedule, type and hours of work are concept that will be defined and studied in more detail later as well as the different articles of each law which regulated the working schedule.
