[ES] El presente trabajo estudia la figura de los matrimonios de conveniencia, un fenómeno habitual que encuentra su fundamento en la inmigración. Es natural que un extranjero que desea establecerse en España quiera ostentar una situación similar a la de los nacionales, pero el problema surge cuando se acude a la figura del matrimonio para lograr indebidamente ventajas relativas a la nacionalidad y extranjería llevando a cabo un manifiesto fraude de ley. Con este trabajo trataremos de precisar que debemos entender por matrimonio de conveniencia, los objetivos que se pretenden conseguir con la realización de esta práctica, el tratamiento jurídico de esta figura tanto en el ámbito nacional como internacional y las distintas medidas que la DGRN propone para impedir la celebración o inscripción de los mismos.
