INTERNACIONALIZACIÓN DEL SECTOR PORCINO ESPAÑOL EN JAPÓN

Abstract

[EN] The main purpose of this work is to study the evolution of the exportation of porcine meat from Spain to the European Union and to other countries in the period 2008-2014. Likewise, it is studied how the Spanish companies could expmi their product in the Japanese market.Using the principal statistics resources related to this sector, ANICE, ICEX and MAGRAMA, the followingconclusions have been obtained: Spain is one of the most important countries exp01iing porcine meat. In 2014, the price of the product decreased due to an excess of porcine meat in the market. The European Union is the main destination though, the sales to other countries have increased. The exports to Japan have led to historie figures in 2014. The principal Spanish product in this market is boned jam. The fact that Spain fulfills the requirements to export porcine meat to the strict Japanese market linked to the lack of high taxes favour the Spanish exp01is to that country.
