El Consorcio de Transporte Metropolitano del Área de Jaén: Un instrumento para el Desarrollo Económico Local.

Abstract

[EN]This grade thesis is composed of two parts, the first one will talk about the area of influence of Jaén, where the Consortium of Metropolitan Transport of the Area of Jaen (CTMAJ) is implemented as an instrument of Local Economic Development. And a second, more administrative, where you will see fully the CTMJA. Finishing with some final conclusions. For this reason the relationship between Local Economic Development and the Consortium has been introduced with theories of centrality, with the urban region and the productive system. Transport is a very important sector that cannot be alien when it comes to mobility and exchange of services between the urban area, forming part of the productive system of the province. For this reason has been introduced a description of the figure of the Consortium, where It is directed and above all, where it is most efficient and effective for the Local Economic Development of Jaén.
