This study try to search if there are correlaction between the emotional intelligence and the transf ormational lidership in workteams, besides, in relation to the measurements from both construct with the gender, marital status, number of children, service in the company, kind of company, level of studies and age of people, and in the case of the leader, the time s/he has been running the workteam. For this were made, with SPSS v.22, the statistical analysis of Anova univariable, Pearson' s correlation and the linear regression. Meanwhile, the Pearson' s correlation if it correlation that all measurements the emotional intelligence and transformational lidership and in the linear regression part of transformational leadership variance was explained by emotional intelligence , in the Anova univariable only showed differences of gender average, service in the company, level of studies and age of people.
En este estudio se busca si existe correlación entre inteligencia emocional y liderazgo transformacional en grupos de trabajo, además, de la relación de las dimensiones de ambos constructos con el sexo, estado civil, número de hijos/as, antigüedad en la empresa, tipo de organización, nivel de estudios y edad, y en el caso del líder tiempo dirigiendo al grupo. Para ello se rea.lizaron, con el SPSS v.22, los análisis estadísticos de Anova univariante, correlación de Pearson y regresión lineal. Mientras que la correlación de Pearson si correlaciono todas las dimensiones de inteligencia emocional y liderazgo transformacional y en la regresión lineal parte de la varianza del liderazgo transformacional era explicada por la inteligencia emocional, en el Anova univariante solo aparecieron diferencias de medias en sexo, antigüedad en la empresa, nivel de estudios y edad.
