Cáncer de mama y emociones positivas: programa de intervención

Abstract

Several studies prove the benefits of the positive emotions in patients diagnosed with cancer. Research in this field is necessary, as the number of new cases is increasing every day.The target of this document is to create an intervention programme, directed to women that suffer from breast cancer, whose purpose is to increase the optimism and to foster the humour, reducing the anxiety and the depression at the same time. The contemplated hypotheses are: 1.It will be observed an increase of the optimism and of the humour once the intervention programme is done in the experimental group and a decrease of the anxiety and of the depression, according to the control group on the waiting list. 2. It will be observed an increase of the optimism and of the humour once the intervention programme is done in the experimental group and a decrease of the anxiety and of depression, these changes will last over time.
