[EN] The tourism industry has become one of the most significant driving forces for economic development in the city of Jaen over the past few years, by also providing benefits and improving the citiziens’ quality of life. Even though the progress is still slow, the city of Jaen is adapting itself to the new changes concerning the tourist sector; in order for the progress to be finally carried out, cooperation among the government, companies, organisations and local population will be completely needed. Above all, Jaen as a tourist destination can offer an unforgettable experience thanks to the rich heritage the city owns for the attraction of tourists, and the cultural, historical and artistic value of the monuments it possesses; as a result, these key features make the city of Jaen a pleasant, quiet, open and unique destination.

[ES] El sector turístico se ha convertido durante los últimos años en uno de los principales motores para el desarrollo económico en la ciudad de Jaén, aportando grandes beneficios y mejorando la calidad de vida. Aunque a pasos lentos, Jaén se va adaptando a los nuevos cambios en materia de turismo y para que todo esto se lleve a cabo es necesaria la colaboración entre administraciones, fundaciones etc.; sin olvidar a la población local.
