El trabajo se centra en el estudio acerca de las personas con enfermedad mental, el ocio y tiempo libre. La atención a la población con enfermedades mentales graves y crónicas constituye uno de los principales problemas sociales y sanitarios de nuestras sociedades. Las problemáticas de esta población son múltiples y complejas, por eso es muy importante atender no solo su problemática clínica y psiquiátrica, sino también sus diferentes dificultades psicosociales y necesidades sociales, con el fin de evitar el deterioro y marginación, y de ofrecerle las oportunidades necesarias para que sea efectiva la rehabilitación e integración social normalizada de este sector de la población en la comunidad.

The work focuses on the study of people with mental illness, leisure and free time. Care for people with severe and chronic mental illness is a major health and social problems of our societies. The problems of this population are multiple and complex, so it is very important to address not only your medical and psychiatric problems, but also their various psychosocial difficulties and social needs in order to prevent deterioration and marginalization, and to provide the necessary opportunities for be effective rehabilitation and social integration of the standard segment of the population in the community.
