El absentismo escolar en menores

Abstract

El presente trabajo fin de grado consiste en una investigación llevada a cabo en dos centro escolares de la provincia de Jaén, con el fin de conocer las opiniones tanto de los alumnos, pertenecientes a educación secundaria, para conocer el perfil y lo que les incentiva a faltar a clase, como de los profesores docentes, psicólogos y directores de dichos centros, sobre las causas y problemática que genera el absentismo escolar en los menores de escolarización obligatoria. Se ha decidido realizar este trabajo para conocer los aspectos más relevantes del absentismo escolar, debido que ha aumentado en estos últimos años en España y que es un problema que no solo afecta a los menores, sino que también está afectando a la comunidad educativa.

This final degree project consists of a research performed in two school centers in Jaen province. The aim is, on the one hand, to know the secondary students point of view, in order to describe their profile and the reasons that make them miss classes. On the other hand, the teachers, psychologists and headmasters give your opinion about the causes and problems of the truancy in compulsory schooling students. This work was motivated by the increase of the truancy in Spain in the last few years, as it is not a problem which affects only minors, but also the whole educational community.
