Análisis psicosocial del mobbing

Abstract

El acoso psicológico laboral ha sido reconocido como un riesgo psicosocial que produce grandes problemas a nivel laboral y social por influir negativamente en la salud de los trabajadores y en el rendimiento de la empresa. El objetivo del presente trabajo es hacer una revisión de las principales aportaciones que se han hecho desde la Psicología Social para explicar este fenómeno y para evaluarlo e intervenir en situaciones de riesgo. Por ello, se describe este problema como una forma de violencia física o psíquica que se produce en el trabajo, que se manifiesta por comportamientos distintos producidos de manera persistente durante cierto periodo de tiempo. Seguidamente se analizan las diferentes fases y las consecuencias devastadoras que tiene para las víctimas, lo que justifica la necesidad de detectarlo a tiempo e intervenir. Además, se plantea la necesidad de prevenirlo para disminuir la prevalencia que tanto ha aumentado en los últimos años.

The psychological work harassment has been recognized as a risk psicosocial that produces big problems to labor and social level for negatively influence in the health of the workers and the performance of the company. The aim of the present work is to do a review of the principal contributions that have been done from the Social Psychology to explain this phenomenon and it to evaluate and to intervene in situations of risk. For it, this problem is described as a form of physical or psychic violence that takes in the workplace, which it manifested for different behaviors produced of a persistent way during certain period of time. After, there are analyzed the different phases and the devastating consequences that it has for the victims, which justifies the need to detect it in time and to intervene. In addition, there appears the need to anticipate it to diminish the prevalencia that so much it has increased in the last years.
