Abstract

This Final Degree Project aims to create a digital twin of a physical industrial system, using the OPC UA (Unified Architecture) communication protocol for the integration and visualisation of data in real time. The digital twin is a virtual representation of a physical system, which allows its behaviour to be simulated, monitored and predicted over time. The project includes the modelling of a physical system (e.g. an industrial process, machinery, or a production plant), the creation of its digital twin, and the implementation of communication between the two using OPC UA. This protocol enables interoperability between different devices and systems, facilitating data integration and remote analysis. The work will range from the acquisition of data from the physical system to its visualisation and analysis on a digital platform.
