In this thesis we will address issues related to social exclusion and children, emphasizing the effects of the lack of economic resources in all areas of a child's life. It is of special importance to study them in order to make them known and find solutions. Specifically, key concepts related to social exclusion, childhood and family will be defined, the effects of poverty on the educational and social system will be explained, as well as the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic in this school environment and a brief explanation of the digital divide as a source of exclusion in current social contexts. After this work, it is expected to know how to define the key concepts, to value the importance of the family in the education of minors, to know the effects of poverty in the educational and social environment of children from families at risk of social exclusion and the proposals for improvement regarding this issue, to know the consequences of Covid-19 in the educational environment and the definition of the digital divide as a factor of social exclusion. Finally, the conclusions obtained will be presented, including whether or not the objectives sought by this study have been achieved and whether or not the hypotheses put forward have been fulfilled.

En este TFG se van a abordar temas relacionados con la exclusión social y los menores, haciendo hincapié en los efectos que conlleva la falta de recursos económicos en todos los ámbitos de la vida del niño. Es de especial importancia estudiarlos para darlos a conocer y ponerles solución. En concreto, se definirán los conceptos clave relacionados con la exclusión social, la infancia y la familia, se explicarán los efectos de la pobreza en el sistema educativo y en el social, las consecuencias que ocasionó la pandemia Covid-19 en este ámbito escolar y una breve explicación de la brecha digital como fuente de exclusión en los contextos sociales actuales. Por último, se expondrán las conclusiones que se han obtenido incluyendo si se han logrado o no los objetivos que se pretenden conseguir mediante este estudio y si se cumplen o no las hipótesis planteadas.
