(EN) This master’s thesis explores human talent management from an epistemological perspective, addressing the evolution of recruitment and selection processes, organizational culture, and the integration of new employees. It analyzes the development of business skills —with special emphasis on soft skills— through a holistic approach that integrates theoretical, practical, and ethical knowledge. The study also examines work motivation from philosophical, physiological, and psychological perspectives, highlighting key theories such as Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, Herzberg’s two-factor theory, and Deci and Ryan’s Self-Determination Theory. Lastly, the thesis connects these concepts to a teaching plan designed for the subject of Economics in the second year of high school, promoting active, inclusive, and competency-based methodologies. The proposal encourages meaningful and contextualized learning, focusing on critical thinking, autonomy, and collaborative work.
