Funciones elementales.

Abstract

(EN) This Master's Thesis integrates the knowledge acquired in the Teaching Master's program, focused on the Mathematics specialty. It takes as a reference Topic 21 of the official exam syllabus, "Real functions of a real variable. Elementary functions; real-life situations in which they appear." It includes a comparative analysis of textbooks from two publishers, evaluating the content and its presentation in the classroom. Additionally, it identifies common difficulties students face when working with functions and proposes teaching strategies to improve learning. As a central part, a teaching unit for Mathematics B in 4th year of ESO is developed, aligned with the Andalusian curriculum, key competencies, and contextualized learning situations. This unit aims to motivate students and facilitate understanding of the topic by applying methodological approaches and knowledge acquired during the master's program.
