[EN]At present, databases are very important critical systems, due to the serious consequences an organization can suffer if data loss occurs. This is why the database management systems must implement stronger security methods than the average software. This work is intended to serve as an introduction to the database management systems, mainly focused on security and access control to the stored data, analyzing theoretical security measures and conducting a comparative study of the security measures implemented by the most commonly used database management system.
