Prevención de Dificultades Específicas en el Aprendizaje de la Lectura.

Abstract

En el presente trabajo, se diseña un programa de intervención con el objetivo de favorecer el aprendizaje eficiente de la lectura en niños y niñas con retraso lector en el primer ciclo de primaria. Se centra en el entrenamiento de habilidades que han resultado óptimas en el aprendizaje inicial de la lectura y por tanto, deja de lado aquellas que no han demostrado evidencia científica. Además, aporta numerosos programas y materiales destinados a la prevención y tratamiento de las dificultades lectoras, haciendo énfasis en el uso de programas computarizados que fomenten el interés hacia la lectura, dejando de lado las actividades repetitivas y memorísticas del aprendizaje tradicionalista. Dicho programa de intervención pretende el uso de un modelo holístico e integral que incluya el trabajo colaborativo entre docentes, familias y terapeutas encargados de su implementación.
