Abstract

This research aims to address the current situation of young people formerly protected by the Public Administration Protection System and the close link with homelessness in the transition stage to adult life. Upon reaching the age of majority, people belonging to this group are no longer protected by the protection measures of the system and must carry out an accelerated emancipation process in which the set of risks to which they are exposed is not considered, leaving them in a situation of vulnerability and risk of social exclusion. To analyze the determining factors that lead these young people to a street situation in their emancipation process, a series of interviews have been carried out with professionals who work in this field, belonging to ONGD Poblado Mundo, an entity in the city of Jaén and young users of it
