Abstract

This Final Degree Project includes an analysis of the Home Help Service from its birth to the present day; without forgetting the modifications that the approval of Law 39/2006 and the subsequent remodeling have entailed. The Service is studied from the following items: Brief history, functions, access, requirements and financing. The work focuses mainly on the care provided by the SAD to the elderly living in Andalucia and who have approved the application for recognition of dependency, which also provides the level ofsatisfaction they feel for the service, and ends with a proposal for improvement for the future. There is also a critical analysis of the current situation of the service and the new adaptations that have been made to continue working on the quality of life of elderly people dependent on the Home Help Service
