Este trabajo fin de grado pretende ser un estudio sobre el Servicio de Ayuda a Domicilio desde su puesta en marcha hasta hoy en día, teniendo en cuenta que hasta el año 2007 no se pone en marcha la Ley 39/2006, de 14 de diciembre, de Promoción de la Autonomía Personal y Atención a las Personas en situación de Dependencia, Ley que cambió de forma importante el acceso y la estructura del servicio que se impartía antes de su aplicación. Se llevará a cabo un análisis del servicio a partir de las funciones, del acceso, de los requisitos exigibles y también de la financiación. Se describe el perfil de personas mayores beneficiarias de dicho servicio, fundamentalmente de las personas que viven en Andalucía, aportando datos de los mismos. Conoceremos los inconvenientes que podemos encontrar en este tipo de servicios para conseguir una buena calidad y asistencia. This final degree thesis aims to be a study on the Home Help Service since its implementation until today, taking into account that it was not until 2007 that Law 39/2006, of December 14, on the Promotion of Personal Autonomy and Care for People in a Situation of Dependency was implemented, a law that significantly changed the access and structure of the service that was provided before its implementation. An analysis of the service will be carried out on the basis of its functions, access, requirements and financing. We will describe the profile of the elderly beneficiaries of this service, mainly those living in Andalusia, providing data on them. We will know the disadvantages that we can find in this type of services to achieve a good quality and assistance. Key words: Elderly people, home help service, dependency, community social services
