Abstract

The main objective of this Final Degree Project is to examine the relationship between empowerment to address sexuality education in the classroom and self-efficacy to handle bullying in the classroom. To this end, a study was conducted in which 477 teachers were surveyed. Some of them were prepared to handle bullying related to sexual orientation, and most of them were sufficiently empowered to address this topic in the classroom. Therefore, those who felt empowered to address this topic in the classroom also considered themselves self-efficacious in handling conflicts related to bullying or sexual orientation. After analyzing the results, it was concluded that this has a series of educational implications that lead to an improvement in the teaching and learning of this topic.
